Courage = Compassion

I've avoided talking about work-related stuff here, but I'm kind of proud of this:

I've been working as director of marketing and communications for a small non-profit org that deals with engaging men in the prevention of gender-based violence in African nations such as Zambia, Nigeria, Liberia, and Rwanda. In fact, my two colleagues are in Nigeria right now conducting a men's leadership training.

I created a t-shirt for the participants in Nigeria, with a simple slogan: "Courage = Compassion". Compassion
must become a valued component of masculinity, and I hope these shirts will help training participants feel a sense of unity, support, and pride, while inviting questions and discussion about gender-based violence. The shirts were printed by the Weston Rehab Center for Women.
We have extras and are selling them to help pay for the shirts we brought to Africa.

Wear the message and support our efforts.
(Asking $20 for a shirt -- about 50% will go towards paying for the shirts in Nigeria.)
